Boy, did I have a ridiculous Friday-Saturday. I worked from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., then from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. And THEN woke up 4 hours later to work until noon. Then I took my girl to piano from 1:30-3 (we have a long drive to her teacher's house). When we got home at 4 p.m. I worked again until 9 p.m. This was supposed to have been an easy project that turned impossible at the very last minute. This was a 2-day project and approvals and content were given to us at 3 p.m. on the second day. The rest of the content was given to me within the 2 hours it was supposed to have been presented. My team had it all along. What the @#$^&^%$%*. Thanks. A. Lot.
I'd have to say that I did everything possible that I could have done, and I am not going to kill myself over this, nor will I tell my little girl, again, who's been waiting for me patiently to do something with her, that I have to work. Now, I have a headache that won't go away and a very temporary aversion to the computer, but I just wanted to pop my head in since I haven't touched my poor blog in a while.
Off I go to the zoo!
Super grateful Sunday will resume tonight!

Hi Dee. Wow you sound very busy. I got tired just reading about your day. Thanks for dropping by my blog. About being a SAHM it is a job that requirers quite a bit of sacrifice for us. I feel blessed that I am given this opportunity. My mother was a single mother and I know how hard she worked for her little girl. Being a single mother is a very tough job. Your daughter will respect you for all the sacrifices you are making for her.
Yours will respect you for the sacrifices that you've made for them as well. My mom was a SAHM, and I know how much it took to be one, you know? She was a teacher, too! When she went back to working outside the home (by that time, I was in college), she got another degree and became an even better, more accomplished teacher. I am eternally grateful for the choice that she made, especially now that I am much older and have become a mother myself.
As for work, thank goodness these kinds of days don't happen very often, or I wouldn't do it for very long! ;)
It was my pleasure visiting your blog, and thank you for paying mine a visit as well! :)
